Hello my name is David Newman & I have been apart of New Road football club for as long as I care to remember.

I bought my eldest son to little dribblers when he was 2 years old & shortly after I was given the chance to not only help train the little dribblers but run my very own team when my eldest turned 6 years old as well.

Over the years I have developed not only my eldest but also my youngest son who eventually got involved in football & so many other kids & adults in the teams that I coach as well.

I currently coach…

My youngest sons team under 11s Blues (who have had back to back promotions) shooting from division 5 up to division 3 in the same season.

My eldest sons team under 13s who have just won the league in division 4

The woman’s team who are in a casual veterans league.

& not to mention the little dribblers who are the future of this club that train from 2-5 year old’s before turning 6 & getting them ready for under 7s football

I also have the pleasure of being apart of the New Road committee as the youth development officer as well as assisting Danielle as our club’s welfare officer
