I'm Darren and I'm entering my 10th year as a manager at New Road having taken my New Road Giants U7s all the way through to U16s with the pinnacle being winning the U15 Division 3 title last year.

Over the last season, I have also managed the New Road Lades in the Casual Woman's Vets League.

Away from managing a team, the last few seasons I've been doing the secretary role on the committee and I combined these duties with the chairman role in December 2024.

Despite no previous interest in the chairman role, I've enjoyed my time and its been great to help the club grow, on and off the pitch, and work with some fantastic people who have the same goals in mind.

Away from New Road, I am a Level 4 football referee and enjoy the pressure that comes with this. As a referee, I am keen to grow our own workgroup and enjoy working with our young refs and helping them on their journey.
